Anna was appointed in May 2018 as the first CEO of Tonic Living CIC. Anna is Chair of the ‘Building Safe Choices’ action research group working with Stonewall Housing and Opening Doors London and the ‘Housing with Pride’ project working with HouseProud to actively promote LGBTQ+ inclusivity and affirmative action in the social housing sector.
Prior to joining Tonic, Anna was Executive Director of UK Cohousing and active in the growing community led housing movement helping establish new community-led housing hubs across the country. She contributed directly to the relaunch of the government’s Community Housing Fund.
Anna has worked in the property sector for over 30 years, and was a Development Director for Aster Group for seven years. She has worked for a number of Local Authorities, Housing Associations and a large private sector house builder with roles in housing development, strategy and project management, community led regeneration and new build projects.
For over 15 years, Luke has held roles in operations, communications, development, and governance for nonprofits, small/micro businesses and social enterprises. He holds a BA in History of Art from the University of Bristol and an MSc in Risk Analysis from King's College London.
He has worked with an array of diverse organisations including, most recently, National Trust and Gendered Intelligence as well as The Conservation Volunteers, Peace Brigades International, the Los Angeles LGBT Center, White Earth Land Recovery Project, Honor the Earth, Fawcett Society and Women's Aid.
